Step 2: Choice of Sole & edge (sole edge)

• Leather sole & half-soles : An authentic touch and a natural feel
• Leather sole & lugged half-soles: Combines sturdiness, grip and durability. (Visible on the Jules)
• Rubber sole : Combines comfort, longevity and lightness. It provides great comfort. (As on the Alain).
• Honey sole: for finesse and flexibility, as on the Cap or the Maurice
• Rubber sole: Combines resistance and grip on all terrains.
• Airlite sole (light or dark) : Combines comfort, longevity and excellent grip. It provides great comfort. Often used in podiatry for back or joint problems, airlite provides excellent cushioning and is hard-wearing, see on the Camargue or on the Madonna for light airlite.

• Possibility of making a wide foot: I take length 38 with width 39 or 40
• Possibility of making a high instep: I have a high instep, I take length 38 with the instep of size 39.
