Step 2: Choice of sole & welt (edge of the sole)

• Leather sole & rubber pads : An authentic touch and a natural feel
• Airlite sole (light or dark) : Combines comfort, durability and excellent grip. It offers great comfort. Widely used in podiatry for back or joint problems, airlite provides great cushioning and wears out very slowly, see on the Camargue or on the Madonna for the light airlite.
• Honey sole: for finesse and flexibility, as on the Cap or the Maurice

• Possibility to make a wide foot: I take the length 38 with the width of a 39 or 40.
• Possibility to make a high instep: my foot is high, I take the length 38 with the instep volume of the 39.
