Step 1: Leather selection: 

  • Full-grain oiled leather (SUP) : A journey through time. The strongest leathers.

Step 2: Choice of sole & welt (edge of the sole)

 

  • Leather sole & pads : An authentic touch and a natural feel
  • Leather sole & lugged pads: Combines robustness, grip and durability.
  • Airlite sole (light or dark) : Combines comfort, longevity and excellent grip. It provides great comfort. Widely used in podiatry for back or joint problems, airlite offers great cushioning and wears out slowly, see on the Camargue or on the Madonna for the light airlite. 

 

 

Step 3: Select (or not) a made-to-measure option.

 

  • Possibility to make a wide foot: I take length 38 with width 39 or 40
  • Possibility to make a high instep: my foot is high, I take length 38 with the instep of 39.
  • Possibility to make a 'complete made-to-measure': wide foot, high instep & calf circumference.
